New Hires Support Growth and Expansion
Jamestown, NY— [3/26/14] — Today, Digitell Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of three new Executive team members that have been added to support new growth in their Marketing, Live Streaming, and Webinar Services.
William Bacon has joined the team as the Director of Marketing. William is responsible for outbound product marketing, which includes branding and go-to-market strategy, and the execution of those particular marketing plans. Additionally, he will work closely with product management on Digitell’s platform road-map, with a focus on social media integration and management.
“From the moment I met Digitell’s President Jim Parker, and learned of his 30 year history in the media industry, I knew that I wanted to join his team,” Bacon noted. “Knowing that he has stayed on top of the technology wave for 30-years is impressive. So many companies and technologies have come and gone, it’s a true testament to Jim’s character that he has stayed a leader in this ever-changing space.”
Bacon said his plan now is to ramp up Digitell’s communication efforts with a newly rebuilt website and a new focus on social media engagement. Digitell will also focus on engaging their community and partners with a frequent webinar series set to begin this summer.
Mike Hatch, a veteran of the meetings and event industry, was also recently brought on as the Business Development Director. Mike will drive Digitell’s products and services into the exhibitor and corporate event market.
Mike will be working out of the DC Office and be responsible for generating new business and new relationships with the thousands of Associations that are in the DC Metro area, as well as help expand into government and international markets.
“We are thrilled to have Mike on our team,” says Jim Parker, president of Digitell. “Mike brings a lot of experience and relationships that will help us grow our customer base, move into new markets and continue to provide quality services to the meetings industry”, adds Parker.
Digitell also strengthened their software development department with the addition of Nick Hagen. Nick has been hired as Digitell’s new Director of Software Development. Nick is an experienced and talented programmer whose vision and management experience will help bring Digitell’s software development to the next level.
With the addition of Nick Hagen, the Digitell software development team now has 9 members. The goal of the team is to enhance Digitell’s state of the art platforms and to position Digitell as an industry leader well into the future.
