WOCN wanted to provide Free Access to the educational content from their meeting, post-conference, but did not have a budget to do so.
Digitell offered a business model that allowed an exhibitor to sponsor the Free Access distribution to attendees. The exhibitor received brand advertising on the On-Demand player, which will be accessed by over 5,000 attendees for the 12 months following the conference. Attendees were required to go to the exhibitor’s booth in order to receive the code that gave them free access to the content. The exhibitor was able to gather qualifying information from the attendees before issuing the code. All attendees received Free Access to all the educational sessions in addition to providing free access to 3 of their staff who were unable to attend the conference.
WOCN was not only able to achieve their goal of paying for the Free Access, but, they made a profit by charging the exhibitor more than the cost of the capture and Free Access. The sponsoring exhibitor received more than double the traffic at their booth than normal as a result of giving out the codes. The sponsoring exhibitor will have branding visibility in front of attendees all year as they listen to sessions from the conference. The attendees were thrilled to have Free Access to all the educational sessions from the conference and be able to share the education with their staff.
