2015… The Year “Hybrid Events” Die
by Todd M. Tolbert
That’s right, I said “Hybrid Events” should die this year. Why? In today’s day and age, shouldn’t most events include both a face-to-face and online component? Whether that is a live video stream, engagement through Twitter or integrating viewers directly into a show, the Internet has enabled possibilities for events that were never possible before. And that is just how all events should be done. We don’t need the modifying word; we just need to plan events for all audiences to be connected.
